James Joyce earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Law School. He served on the staff at City National Bank of Detroit while attending law school and upon graduation, served as in-house counsel for Kemper Insurance in Southfield and Home Insurance Company in Grand Rapids. In addition to his status as a veteran, Jim is a member of the Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Associations. He has also appeared on the "Ask the Lawyer" program. Since 1977, Jim has exclusively litigated personal injury, social security disability and workers' compensation cases.
